8 year old birthday fun!

Kaden turns 8! What a great day it was. He woke up and had Dutch babies and presents. Followed by lunch at the school birthday tabel with Karter and mom. Kaden really wanted a party at Chuckie Cheese so we did it. WE had so much fun and a great turn out. Even Grandma and Grandpa Wilkes from Alabama were able to make it. He had 12 of his best friends and 3hours of fun.

Wow has it really almost been a year since my last post? A lot has gone on Kaden is almost done with the first grade and is playing soccer and baseball. Karter is almost done with his first year of preschool. I just started working again. I'm only working three days a week so I still get to see my kids quite a bit but I miss them like crazy while I'm gone. luckily I have the best family ever to look out for them when I can't..

Ok I have not posted in a really long time we have had so much going on. Kaden finshed kindergarten and is so excited to go to first grade. He just finshed playing t ball and is taking tennis lessons and really liking them. Karter is getting so big and is starting preschool in the fall. Justin has opened his own car lot in ogden if anyone needs a used car you should go see him. I just finshed my class I was taking to become a CNA. Life is a little more mellow for the summer so maybe you will see some more posts soon.

I have not posted forever. Life is very busy I started going back to school the first part of March. This was Easter, We went to my parents for dinner and an egg hunt. It was fun and the weather was good.

For my 28th birthday my mom and sisters and me went to

lunch at the olive garden (one of my favorites)and to the movie bride wars

we then went back to Marci's her husband had watched my kids and they suprised me with cake and ice cream I have the best mom and sisters out there. thanks girls for a great day. THe pictures are backwards but Karter really loved the pink cupcakes .

Kaden was in heaven yesterday. Justin and Kaden went flying with 2 of Justins friends and there boys yesterday. Kaden loves flying he got spoiled when we lived in Arizona my dad would fly down all the time in the winter and me and K would hitch a flight back with him to visit the family. Kaden loved it every time and would sit for like an hour at the age of two and look at airplane magazines and pick out the ones he wanted. He says all the time we should go back to AZ so he could fly with grandpa. He had a great day yesterday with his daddy and the other boys.

Kaden turned six on November 4th. He is getting so big and such a great little kid. Kaden has wanted a party at classic fun center and a transformer cake for a year and so we did it. Everyone had so much fun there was skating and video games and slides and a bunch of blow up jumping toys.
Madison is one of Kadens best friends she was are old neighbor before we moved to Arizona. Kaden was just Two when he started playing with her.

Kaden was so excited to get the lego Indiana Jones game for his new DS. Thanks aunt Kathleen.

They have a Deal or no Deal game there and k won 100 tickets playing and was so excited.

Kaden was obi wan kanobi and karter was darthvador this year. They were so excited to go trick or treating this was the best shot I could get. Justin left work early this year and made really yummy chili but it ended up being way to spicy for the kids. We had Maric, Jason and Isaac over and Kathleen, Dan and Zack too. Karter had fun for a little bit but some of the costumes he saw made him pretty nervous so we went back and Just took the big boys out to finish the trick or treating they did not come back till there orange pumkins were full to the top.

So as a family we usually do gingerbread houses at christmas but while shopping at michaels one day Kaden found a haunted house one and talked me in to getting it. He had so much fun just look at the picture his hands were black like two days

Karter is always so happy and had fun watching k do the haunted house he did not really get into it

So this month started out with a baby showere for my sister marci at my house she is having twin girls. you look great marci.

So I Woke up this morning at 3 am to hear kaden having a conversation very loudly or at least it seemed at 3 a.m. as I listened while trying to wake up I hear him telling a story about the cow jumping over the moon and then I hear another voice start to giggle so I get up walk in his room and find Karter in Kadens bed and k says hi mom Im just telling karter some stories. Karter has been sleep walking latley and has always come into my room. I then took him back to bed. At 645 a.m. I hear kaden again saying karter wake up its morning but at are house morning does not usually start before 8 so I start to go tell kaden to go back to bed but found him still in bed only again karter was there but asleep and k tells me I just woke up mom and he was here. so i told him to go back to bed and not wake kar up about 1/2 hour later I hear them both up and wilder then ever. I wish I would have taken a pic of this Kaden is such a good big brother and karter loves him so much.

Kaden has found a game he loves. He wakes up every morning and the first things he says is mom is it soccer day? Saturday always feels so far away to him. Hes pretty good to he has made at least two goals every game so far and is so excited when he does.

CHEESE
OK Kaden lost his two front teeth last week. Not the way I would have expected though. K woke up one morning with his top lip really swollen. I gave him Benadryl and it went down some. He kept saying his teeth hurt and would not eat. The next morning he woke up and his gums up top were really red and swollen looking. Of course it was labor day weekend and the dentist was out of town but he called in antibiotics for him. Wednesday morning I took him in to the dentist. K fell and chiped his tooth a year ago and his tooth had apparently died. So they drugged him up gave him the gas and he still screamed the hole time they did it. He was not happy about not having his teeth and asking me when the new ones were going to come in. Kaden has a great school teacher this year Mrs. Erickson and by the time school was over he had decided it was pretty cool to not have his two front teeth. Thanks Mrs Erickson for helping k not be so nervous about his new look.

Kaden started kindergarton today! I am now a mom of a school age child. It's crazy it does not seem that long ago he was my baby keeping me up all night. Kaden is so fun he is one of my best friends. Kaden is very excited to be going to school where his Aunt Myndee teaches and his cousion Isaac is in 2nd grade. Good luck today K.

Grandma and grandpa were going to be in Hawaii on Karters bday so she threw him a party on Sunday. She cooked a great dinner gave him the coolest bike and made him a franko cake for dessert. Thanks mom your the best.

On the 5th we had family over for pizza and cake. Karter got some fun new toys. Thanks everyone for coming and celebrating with us.

We finally have a blog...so here it goes Kaden just finished his first season of T ball and now is on to swimming, he is learning how to read and starts kindergarten in July. Justin has taken up golf, and still really likes his job. Karter is learning to talk, I think truck is his favorite word right now. Kar loves life and his big brother. I'm just excited summer in Utah is finally here.
